This article aimed to analyze the figurative language used in Bible Old Testament. The objectives of this research are find out types and meanings To data, author uses main theory proposed by Knickerbocker Reninger (1963) entitled Interpreting Literature meaning Leech (1981) Semantics. analyzed data using a qualitative method. were collected reading Bible, taking note classifying sentences that contain language. was taken from found Testament simile (3 items or 37,5%), metaphor (1 item 12,5%), personification paradox hyperbole (2 25%). Simile is dominant type there 3 with least result namely metaphor, personification, paradox.
